It’s a New Year and
Taakra Arts and Crafts Academy is offering some very exciting packages/
workshops and seminars in addition to the regular line up of weekly classes.
From January 2013,
Lady D will be visiting Zoological Garden to sensitize corps members on Taakra art
and craft courses currently be held in Gwarimpa Abuja .
Lady D has dedicated time and resources in
creative outlets for those interested in art and crafts through her television
show Taakra. It was from her television show that Taakra Arts and Craft Academy
transpired.
This initiative
has helped individuals with zeal and zest to become self- reliant and masters
of their own creativity.
Since her relocation
to Abuja, she has instructed several sessions in Jewelry, Hat making as well as
Seminars for Corps member in FCT. Her vast knowledge has resulted in her active
participation in numerous workshops at schools and many others throughout the
state. Lectures will begin Friday to Saturday between 10am to 5pm.

At the end of each
course which will last for one month (1 month), each participant will be
awarded certificate and empowered to continue in the lucrative business of Arts
and crafts.
