The Women trafficking and child labor eradication foundation
(WOTCLEF) in conjunction with Taakra Art and krafts Academy are united in their
committed to rebuilding lives.
WOTCLEF a non-governmental organization was initiated and founded
by Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs.) Amina Titi Atiku Abubarkar , wife of the Vice- President
of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1999, and which is committed to building an
international coalition that restores human dignity through empowerment,
education, advocacy.
WOTCLEF is dedicated to the eradication of human trafficking
in persons, child labor and violent abuses of the rights of women in society,
as well as HIV/AIDS.
With similar goals, Mrs. Diane Oputa the founder of Taakra
Arts and Kraft Academy partnered with WOTCLEF in a skill acquisition training
program which she shares her crafting techniques to young ladies,
teaching projects and skills that will enable them successfully reintegrate
back into the society.
